This training is geared toward those who lead or influence groups of people and want to learn how to hold space for tough conversations in daily life, in your community, at your workplace or during formal dialogues. We hope you will consider applying or pass along to colleagues who may benefit from this opportunity. This community event may be of interest to LWVPGH members.

The League of Women Voters of Pennsylvania is pleased to invite you to the 54th Biennial Convention, held June 18th & 19th! This year’s theme is The League: Keystone of Democracy. The 2021 Convention offers the chance to embrace our history and celebrate 101 years of the League of Women Voters. In keeping with the very different circumstances that have presented since we were last together, and given our continued commitment to accessibility for all, this year’s one and a half-day Convention will take place virtually on Zoom. Though our format has been modernized, Convention will focus on upholding League tradition. You can expect plenary sessions on bylaws, budget, program and election of officers, as well as delegate voting and awards distribution. In keeping with years past, you’ll hear from influential speakers on a number of timely and relevant topics. There will also be plenty of opportunities for connection and engagement among members. The League is committed to welcoming all members to attend Convention regardless of financial situation. If you would like more information about our accessible registration and pricing options, please email convention@palwv.org. High school students are eligible to attend Convention for $5. If you are a high school student, please email convention@palwv.org for a discount code.
