Overview

228 seats in the PA General Assembly are up for election in 2022.  This includes all 203 State Representatives, and 25 of the 50 State Senators.  These representatives for the 2023-2024 legislative session will be chosen in the November 8 General Election will begin their terms on December 1, 2022.

PA State Senate districts

for Allegheny County.

  • Pennsylvania has 50 State Senators who serve four-year terms.
  • In 2022, the 25 senatorial seats in even-numbered districts are up for election.
  •  In 2024, the odd-numbered seats will be up for election.

PA State House of Representatives districts

for Allegheny County.

  • Pennsylvania has 203 State Representatives who serve two-year terms.
  • All 203 seats are up for election in 2022.
