Pennsylvanians for Modern Courts is presenting a series of virtual workshops on the courts. The first in the series is a comprehensive overview of the criminal court process. Presenters include Joseph R. Paletta, an experienced Pittsburgh criminal defense attorney and Allegheny County Common Pleas Judge Alexander P. Bicket of the Criminal Division. They will address three different stages of criminal procedure: criminal complaints/arrests, preliminary arraignments/preliminary hearings and the trial process within in the Common Pleas Court. This educational series is sponsored by Pennslyvanians for Modern Courts, and co-sponsored by the Allegheny County Law Library and the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh.
