Polling Place Changes in Allegheny County

2024 Primary Election
vote_here_pic_-_canva.png

Allegheny County has over 1,300 voting precincts and polling places.  During each election cycle a handful of polling locations are changed for a variety of reasons, and so it is always recommended that you check the location of your polling place before you vote.

We recommend using the "Find Voter Registration Status" tool at Pennsylvania's website to find your polling place.
Find Voter Registration Status

This site will provide your polling place along with your precinct number, information about your congressional and legislative districts, your mail-in ballot request, and your registration status.  (It is also easier to use than the official "Find Your Polling Place" tool.)

You Will Be Notified if Your Polling Place is Moved
If your polling place is relocated for any reason,
  • you will receive a postcard from the Allegheny County Elections Division with the address of your new polling place
  • signs will be posted at your old polling place directing you to the new location
To see the entire list of Allegheny County's polling places with changes highlighted, you can download the spreadsheet from the  Candidate and Municipal Resources  page on the County website.  You need to know your precinct number to use the spreadsheet, so if you're just looking for your own polling place, the Voter Registration Status check above is best.

Polling Places Moved Due to the Passover Holiday
Passover Calendar Conflict

This year, Primary Election Day is scheduled on the first day of Passover.  Polling places normally hosted in Jewish community centers or houses of worship have been relocated to accommodate the observance of Passover.

Other Polling Place Changes
Before every election, a handful of polling places need to be relocated for a variety of reasons (construction, building closure, new owner...) For this primary election about 50 polling places are relocating, affecting about 60 precincts.  (There are often multiple precincts voting at one location.) Not all of the new locations have been finalized, so we will not list them here.  Please use the resources at the top of the page to check your polling place location.
