The &quot;Democracy in America&quot; series is partnering with Pennsylvanians for Modern Courts to provide an introduction to Pennsylvania&#39;s Common Pleas and Magisterial Courts. The program will describe the impact Common Pleas and Magisterial justices have on the lives of Pennsylvanians as well as provide valuable information on evaluating judicial candidates prior to the November elections. <br /><br />Pennsylvanians for Modern Courts (&quot;PMC&quot;), a nonpartisan nonprofit, envisions a Pennsylvania judicial system in which everyone who participates is assured impartiality, fairness, accessibility and respect.<br /><br />The &quot;Democracy in America&quot; series is a project of the Mt. Lebanon Public Library, the Denis Theater, and is co-sponsored by LWVPGH.
