Volunteers needed for our first in-person event of the year! <br /><br />The Juneteenth Parade on Sat., June 26 is a re-enactment of the &quot;Jubilee of Freemen&quot; Parade held in Pittsburgh on April 26th, 1870 celebrating the ratification of the 15th Amendment granting Black Men the Right to Vote. LWVPGH will march in the parade and staff a voter registration table at Point State Park with our partners at B-PEP for Pittsburgh&#39;s 5th Annual Freedom Day. <br /><br />We are looking for as many volunteers as possible to march in the parade 10am-noon.<br /><br />There will be two shifts for volunteers to staff the voter registration table.
