MLK and the Struggle for Black Voting Rights - A Harvard Case Study
Immerse yourself in a Harvard Case Study interactive discussion: Martin Luther King Jr. and the Struggle for Black Voting Rights. Read an actual Case Study written by award-winning Harvard Professor Dr. David Moss, author of the book Democracy: A Case Study. Take part in an engaging discussion that will have participants consider the struggle for voting rights over the course of U.S. History and evaluate strategies.
Online registration required to receive reading and Zoom invitation link. Registered participants will receive an email containing a password-protected link to a free copy of the Case Study and questions to prepare ahead for the discussion. The Zoom invitation link will be provided the day of the discussion.
This virtual event will be moderated by Mt. Lebanon Social Studies teacher, Karina Montgomery and North Allegheny Social Studies Director/Teacher, Joelle Keats. It is co-sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Greater Pittsburgh and the Mt. Lebanon Library’s Democracy in America Series.
