"Freedom is a Constant Struggle: African Americans at the Ballot Box" - Heinz History Center

Join the History Center’s African American program for a free panel discussion, “Freedom is a Constant Struggle: African Americans at the Ballot,” on Tuesday, June 28 from 6-8 p.m. The roundtable will explore the history of voting rights, in conjunction with the Civic Season theme of “Rewind, Reflect, and Reimagine."

Panelists will include civil rights activist Annie Pearl Avery, Penn State African American Studies professor Dr. Ray Block, and will be moderated by Miracle Jones of 1Hood Media.

This community event may be of interest to LWVPGH members. The event is free but registration is required.
