The League of Women Voters of Greater Pittsburgh has created a new team to provide knowledgeable Speakers on topics focused on voting, elections, and government.

Our Speakers have a broad knowledge base and experience with public speaking.  Our professional background skills include teaching, work in non-profits, management expertise, and tech skills.  However, above all, our Speakers are committed to the League's mission of "Empowering Voters. Defending Democracy". 

This is accomplished through adherence to:

Nonpartisan policy.  We do not endorse or oppose any candidate or political party.
Political.  For 105 years, we have supported positions that are arrived at through a consensus model. See our Policy Positions page here .
Reliable and Trustworthy. Our presentations are vetted by a responsible team of League volunteers.

• Feedback Form will be sent to Requesters after the speaking engagement is fulfilled . 

• Self-reflection of Speakers will follow the review of feedback from Requesters.
