SIXTY NINE SEVENTY a play about social activism, premieres in Pittsburgh, PA
at the City Theatre Campus | May 14th - May 24th, 2026
Friday, May 15th, Sunday, May 17th, Thursday, May 21st, Friday, May 22nd, and Sunday, May 24th. The play starts at 7:30 PM on Thursday and Friday and at 5:30 PM on Saturday and Sunday. We are looking for volunteers to table and speak about the League at any of these performances. Two free tickets to the play are being offered for each time LWVPGH tables.
The PITT School of Social Work COSA Program is presenting a play celebrating activism in the era of the Vietnam War. The play focuses on activism among college students during the period of civil unrest and attacks on democracy in 1969 and 70. In conjunction with the play the COSA (Community Organization and Social Action) we are trying to elevate local civic engagement and activism work each night at the play, offering organizations an opportunity to table and share information.
