Special Election, 42nd State Legislative District

Rep. Dan Miller resigned to take his new position on the Court of Common Pleas.
The 42nd District includes Baldwin Township, Mt. Lebanon and part of Upper St. Clair, as well as Castle Shannon and Dormont.

Special elections do not have primaries. Instead, political parties nominate candidates directly. The winner of a special election goes on to serve the remainder of an unexpired term.
