About this event
The reading for December 20th is Democracy Awakening -Notes on the State of America, by Heather Cox Richardson. As a supplement to the reading, you may also want to watch a recent interview that Richardson had with Jon Stewart. That interview may be found here, but it's not a requirement.
Please note that the location for the December meeting is changed to accommodate our traditional Holiday gathering, We will meet at the Longwood Retirement Community in Oakmont at 10:30am to discuss the book, and at noon we will purchase lunch in their cafeteria and dine in a separate room. If you are using GPS to get to the location, enter "140 Overlook Drive, Verona, 15147" as the location because that will take you to the correct entrance and the correct building on that campus.
