Many volunteers are needed to deliver 11,000 door hangers to 66 locations located within the county.  These are going to residents of senior apartment buildings and clients of meals on wheels programs which serve the homebound.  Please consider helping.  Click this link to see the locations and sign up.

All you have to do is pick up your door hangers, contact the delivery site to arrange for a drop off and then make the delivery.  A script will be provided for making calls.  Everyone is expecting a call to set up a delivery time.

Kathy Herbst will hold a packing bee for the door hangers on September 4th, from 11am to 2pm.  The door hangers will be ready for pick up and distribution at that time. If you can't pick up your door hangers at that time please contact Kathy Herbst, kathy.herbst@lwvpgh.org, to make other arrangements.  

If anyone would like to take some packaged door hangers home and serve as an alternate pick up spot  please let Kathy know. Delivery volunteers come from all over the county, as well as other counties. so having additional pick up locations can help them.

We want to get the door hangers out before the mail in ballots start to arrive, which could happen the week of Sept.16, so please plan to make your deliveries by then.
