"The Importance of Municipal elections"
to discuss the power of community involvement, civic engagement strategies, and the influence of municipal policies on broader regional and national issues.
Municipal elections play a pivotal role in shaping the very foundation of our communities. From local policies to public services, these elections directly impact our day-to-day lives.
As such, it’s crucial for us to understand the significance of these elections and actively participate in shaping the future of our municipalities.
This panel will bring together a distinguished group of community leaders - including Lauren Cristella, President & CEO of the Committee of Seventy, Philadelphia Commissioner Chair Lisa Deeley, and Debbie Gross, President & CEO of Pennsylvanians for Modern Courts - to discuss the power of community, involvement, strategies to encourage civic engagement, and the influence of municipal policies on broader regional and national issues.
