About this event
The Non-Fiction Book Club meets on the third Friday of each month to discuss a selected book or topic. The topic for January is "Native Americans." Members can choose their own reading. Some suggested titles are, Crazy Brave - Joy Harjo, Killers of the Flower Moon: The Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI by David Grann, An Indigenous People’s History of the United States by Roxanne Dunbar-Ortiz, In the Spirit of Crazy Horse:The Story of Leonard Peltier and the FBI’s War on the American Indian Movement by Peter Matthiessen, Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee by Dee Brown, and Empire of the Summer Moon: Quanah Parker and the Rise and Fall of the Comanches.
